The Tigers fell in double overtime to the conference’s number one seed, the DePauw Tigers. Tiger senior Kate Burns opened up the scoring with fire-cracker in the 18th minute. After giving up the equalizer in 37th minute, the Wittenberg defense held strong. Senior Maggie Greiser had six saves between the pipes. The defense held strong until surrendering the game winner in the 118th minute. The loss marks the end of the season for kickin’ Tigers.

The team extended its winning streak to four games on Saturday with a blowout win over the Kenyon Lords. The game marked a first for the program. Saturday’s 10a.m. start time was the earliest in school history. More to the point, senior Ryan Myers nabbed a record three interceptions on the day for the Tigers. On the other side of the ball, senior Zach Jenkins threw for 314 yards. One hundred and twenty four of those yards came on balls were caught by senior Luke Landis.
