The Central Dining Room was filled Wednesday night as people came to see the Leadership Awards Celebration. Winners were selected from 24 categories. Max Sullivan, ’14, was the main emcee for the event, but each category was presented by a different person or group of people. Guests celebrated the awards with snacks, drinks, and dessert.

Excellence in Community Service Award – Scott Dooley (for his work with Empty Bowls)
Outstanding Community Service and Philanthropy Award – Gamma Phi Beta
Dietrich Academic Excellence Award – Beta Theta Pi (3.189 average GPA in 2011) and Alpha Delta Pi (3.478 average GPA in 2011)
Adviser of the Year Award – Jon Duraj (Adviser of WUSO and Union Board)
Volunteer Adviser / Instructor of the Year Award – Kent Brooks (for his work with the IMANI Gospel Choir)
Unsung Hero Award – Dennis Robinson (Pole Vaulting and Track and Field Assistant Coach)
Richard R. Scott Staff / Faculty Support Award – Nicole Kinzler, Visiting Assistant Professor, Psychology
Contributions to Health and Wellness Award – HEART (Health, Education, and Response Team)
Contributions to Religious and Spiritual Life Award – September 11, 2001 Anniversary Remembrance (Organized by Aaron Moore)
