9/02/2011 at 1:35 p.m. Officers received a report of alleged animal cruelty. Allegedly, a rabbit, ferret and snake were left in a vehicle unattended in the heat of the New Hall parking lot. We [officers] located the students who allegedly had a snake and they said that the snake and animals were turned over to one of the student’s sister for safe keeping. The vehicle was checked and no animals or snakes were found.
9/02/2011 at 11:43 p.m. Officers cited a student into the Dean’s Office for underage drinking after observing him with a beer while walking in front of our cruiser on Woodlawn Ave.
9/03/2011 at 12:58 p.m. Officers conducted a welfare check on a student at the request of her father. The student was found to be off campus on a class project. All was okay.
9/05/2011 at 10:09 p.m. Officers responded to the odor of marijuana coming from a room in the New Residence Hall. The two students occupying the room were found to have been smoking marijuana. Evidence was recovered. Both were cited into the Dean’s office.
9/10/2011 at 12:16 a.m. Officers assisted an RA at the New Residence Hall regarding an intoxicated student. The student was located and advised by officers to stay in his room for the remainder of the evening. He later decided to roam the halls and was subsequently cited to the Dean’s office for public intoxication and public disturbance.
9/11/2011 at 9:01 p.m. Officers took two reports from separate students on Faculty Ct. regarding someone walking on their unattended parked cars on Faculty Ct.
9/13/2011 at 12:30 a.m. Officers on patrol observed two students littering on N. Fountain Ave. They had just left a party intoxicated. Both were cited into the Dean’s office for littering and public intoxication. One of the two was also cited for underage drinking.
