Ever wonder what kind of calls the Wittenberg Police and Security Department respond to on a daily basis? These are a few highlights from the past two week’s Police and Security Log.
1/22/2011 at 4:08am Officer arrested two men (Non-Students) for throwing eggs at cars and people in the campus area. One of the two was arrested for assault and criminal mischief while the other was arresed just on criminal mischief. The assault incident occurred on East Campus Dr. A student was struck with an egg. Both were processed at the county jail.
1/22/2011 11:58pm Officers cited an underage student into the Dean’s Office for underage drinking and public intoxication after finding him staggering along the RR tracks behind the Wittenberg Physical Plant at 225 N. Fountain Ave. He was returned to his dorm room.
1/27/2011 9:14pm Officers responded to Sprecher apartments to assist a student locked out of her residence. As the officers assisted and opened the door, they noticed drug paraphernalia and marijuana in plain view. The property was confiscated and both occupants were issued Dean’s summonses.
1/29/2011 10:05pm Officers responded to Keller Apartments with SFD regarding a fire alarm. Investigation revealed that a student overcooked his meal, activating the system. The system was reset. All was okay.
