Word on the Street

This week, we asked the student body: “How did you feel about the results of the 2016 Presidential election?”

“As an Enviro-Sci major, I am honestly worried… Trump’s beliefs about the EPA and environmental policy in general have left me with doubts about the future and the fight for sustainability.” – Zach Hoyer, ’19

“This election took a piece of me and broke it. It was a crazy race, too bad Hillary didn’t win.” – Seamus Dunphy, ’19

“The election results were shocking and disheartening to say the least, but I think it will show America’s strength and continual resilience in the light of tough times.” – Maklayne Vitovich, ’19

“I was in total shock and disbelief when I heard the results of this election.” – Sierra Lane, ’19

“I was shocked and scared at first, but now I’m ready to see what awaits us. I will be waiting with an open heart and open mind to see what direction he takes the country in.” – Brady Fox, ’19
